French Immersion course literature study themes include, but are not limited to: Gr.9 – French Canadian Gr.10 – French European Gr.11 – French World Gr.12 – French Middle Ages to Present
In Grade 9 students will: Learn about «contes et légendes franco- canadiennes» Explore the 7 teachings of aboriginal nations Read excerpts from well-known French Canadians authors: Gabrielle Roy & Michel Tremblay Read a play Read a novel independently Use multimedia resources to further develop their knowledge of important French Canadian figures – activities in this unit will also reflect the tasks they will do on the OSSLT to prepare them for this test (Grade 10)
