  4. IPEDS – DATA 1. Total salaries and wages from the library budget – • Report salaries and wages before deductions for all full- time and part-time library staff. • Include student assistant wage and Federal Work-Study students' wage if they were included as part of the library budget. 2. Total fringe benefits paid out of the library budget – Lesson Learned: • The benefits for full time Library staff are not paid out of the Library’s budget, but from the State appropriations for faculty/staff benefits.

  5. IPEDS – DATA Do You Know where to find this information? Total expenditures for: 3. One – time purchases of books, serial backfiles, and other materials. 4. Ongoing subscriptions, serials in all formats. (Periodicals, newspapers, annuals, memoirs, and paid subscriptions for electronic journals, indexes/abstracts available via Internet, CD-ROM and annual fees.) Lesson Learned: • Circulation statistics are key!

(Rebinding, Deacidification, restoration, lamination, and digitization. 6. Operation and maintenance fees. (Everything else) 7. InterLibrary Loan services • Provided to other libraries. • Received from other libraries Lesson Learned: • Circulation statistics are key!
