INTRODUCTION Provincial Youth Assembly is to educate Pakistani Youth about politics and democracy.

OBJECTIVES OF PYA The specific objectives of Provincial Youth Assembly are: • Educate Pakistani Youth about politics and democracy and to demonstrate to them how Parliaments are able to legislate, debate matters of provincial and national concerns, demand accountability from those in government, discuss matters in committees. • We do not simply take young people; rather we bring young people on a journey of discovery about themselves, their environment and ultimately help them to find their place in society.

Achievements • Policy discussion on research based. • Rediscovered the Image of KPK and FATA as Peaceful Land and presented to the world. e.g Go Zest Event PYA & GDA KP Govt. • KP’s largest Burn Unit in Peshawar. • Youth Leadership training Programs. • Patronized our Youth for Volunteerism. • Participation of Youth in Local bodies Elections. • Vote awareness Campaign throughout KP. • Peace Festivals. • Umeed ki kiran Thelesymia Hospital.

Assembly Structure The Provincial Youth Assembly follows its own two-Party System, an elected Leader of the House or Youth Chief Minister, Leader of the Opposition, a Youth Provincial Cabinet, a Shadow Youth Provincial Cabinet and Standing Committees.

Why PYA Came To Lead • No Political Awareness • No Open Platform • De Centralization of Youth •NGO’s And Agenda base parties were working on de -tracking Youth

Assembly Sessions of PYA PYA is polishing future Leaders and trying to give awareness and motivation and demo sessions to youth i.e. • To educate Pakistani Youth about politics and democracy and to demonstrate to them how Parliaments are working. • How to compete elections • How assembly sessions arranged • How to sit and to maintain Discipline. • How to Talk. • How to table and pass a resolution.

Presenting Resolution about Pak- Afg Youth Dialogue • To reduce stereotypes between Pakistan & Afghanistan, youth exchange program should be motivated. • Previous youth exchange program analysis proved. • TV, Radio Shows, Blogs, Articles & Community sessions

From Academy to Practical politics • PYA Took part in Local Body Elections from more then 100 UC’s all around KP. • And more then 22 candidates are elected from all around KP.
