// BEACON PROGRAMME • Complements the National Programme • Applicants will have received 3yrs support through the National Programme • Be a strong fit across all aspects of the National Events Strategy • Willing and able to act as a model of good practice to other events
// BEACON CRITERIA 2 out of 3 • 50% of visitors from outwith the local authority area • Generate or have potential to generate around £500,000 economic impact to Scotland • Fill a specific geographic, demographic or sector gap in the Scottish events portfolio 2 rounds per year. Pre-application template 31 August for Jan – June 2019 1 February for July – Dec 2019
// CLAN FUND • Established in 2014 • support growth of clan & clan-related events • expand & enhance the visitor experience and spread the benefits of clan events across the country • Open to clans, clan societies and recognised family gatherings • Welcomes applications from organisations such as community / youth groups with events which bring local communities closer to clan heritage
