  3.  Group 1: Monday 2 nd – Thursday 5 th March  Group 2: Thursday 5 th – Sunday 8 th March  Group 3: Sunday 8 th – Wednesday 11 th March

  4. Each group will have:  At least three Millbrook Junior School members of staff  Fully qualified Centre instructors

  5.  Children will stay in a Victorian building which has been renovated and modernised but retains its character  Three rooms – bunk beds 6 in each room  One large room - 18 beds  Teacher rooms are next to pupil accommodation  http://www.govilon.org.uk/

  6. Sample Morning Afternoon Evening Day 1 Depart @ 8.30 am Settle In Night Walk Travel down by coach Getting to know the Arrive @ 12 pm location – Hill walk 1. Bushcraft /Tunnel 1. Waterfalls Walk Practical skills and Day 2 2. Orienteering 2. Caving History activities run by Govilon staff at the Centre Day 3 1. Orienteering 1. Caving School Staff Activity 2. Bushcraft /Tunnel 2. Waterfalls Walk Depart @ 1:00 pm Day 4 Big Pit visit Travel home

  7.  Parents/carers will be notified by text when the children have arrived at the Govilon Activity Centre  Parents/carers will be notified by text of the estimated time of arrival when returning to school  Staff will provide school with regular updates during the residential visit  No photographs will be taken other than a group photograph for display purposes

  9.  Breakfast – choice of cereal and cooked breakfast  Lunch – packed lunch ordered day before  Dinner - full 3-course meal  Supper – light snack and cocoa/squash Special diets can be catered for – details collected prior to visit

  10.  Total Cost: £245  Initial non-refundable deposit of £50 by Friday 8 th November.  Full payment will need to be made be Friday 7 th February 2020.  The children receive a payment card in order to pay in instalments  Payment can also be made via the Schoolcomms payment system. Information is available from our school office if you prefer this option

  12.  Medical forms will be sent out soon. These must be completed fully and must be handed in by the specified date  Tetanus information – this can be obtained from your doctor’s surgery.   13. If any medicine is to administered to your child during the residential visit, a medicine a form should be filled in nearer the time of the visit with all information including correct name of medicine and clear dosage. A separate form should be filled in for every medicine taken. This includes travel sickness tablets and creams.   14.  I really enjoyed making fire using hay, charcloth, flint and steel. It was fantastic! (Jessica)  The food was lovely – especially the leek and potato soup. Overall the food was amazing. (Gracie)

  15.  The cave was like a massive maze. I really enjoyed it and I thought it was very interesting. (Finn)  The waterfall walk was really slippery. (Lottie)
