  20. Are You Ready for Mobility in 2015? If not, TENET can help.

  21. Enterprise Mobility: Get Ready for 2015 QUESTIONS ----- Mobility Trends  Why are customers using more than 1 MDM? – Custom Needs – Migration pains  Where are MDM platforms going? – Table stakes: – Most have added other services: – Secure communications (secure BBB- eBBM, SecureChat) – Content Mgmt: Content Locker, ShareFile, DocstoGO – Push Uniqueness of platform partnerships: – MaaS360: Security End point Mgmt, – Citrix: Virtualization – BES12: IOT integration – McAFee with their own Virus Scanning – SOTI: Rugged integration, M2M/IOT – Evolving functionalities: TEMS, Asset Mgmt, etc

  22. Enterprise Mobility: Get Ready for 2015 Mobility Trends  Enterprises & Mobility (uses of mobility)  Mobility Solutions customers Are Embracing (why embrace MBLTY?)  Mobility Challenges (Costs, Risks, Security & Innovation) – Multiple platforms – Device proliferation (tablets/smartphones/laptops) – BYOD & Virtualization – IT skillsets required – Security and Collaboration – Applications development, testing, distribution & support – Microsoft Onedrive (FREE with Office365 licenses, with ) – No integration with MDM’s (except new to Citrix) – INTune … still crap – Microsoft Outlook Mobile client… banned because it sits outside of the container & password is stored in the cloud (hence not secure) & must be configured by the user alone (shitty mgmt.)

  23. Enterprise Mobility: Get Ready for 2015 Market Insights  Solutions Approach needed for GTMOOM  Lifecycle Mgmt  IOT  Help Desk Requirements/Challenges  Implementation svcs, Mobility Mgmt, Process Integration & other areas of efficiencies  Mobility Solutions focus: consulting, BOT & BOM  Container or no container?  No clear answer… it depends on what you are trying to do  Balance: Useability/flexible/cost vs security $160/yr container  Useability impact, not able to wrap  Not native email client, container based browser  Legacy app (java applets) not support by some containers  BYOD: What others are doing & why? CYOD – is becoming the standard  BYOD is a good tool for IT (but still tough)  BYOD can be managed…. You need the right policies, process & toolset  Tell me how…. ?????????  The BlackBerry dilemma

  24. Enterprise Mobility: Get Ready for 2015 QUESTIONS ------- Market Insights  Are you recommending BYOD?  BYOD has its place… in the IT team’s kitbag… but only if you plan to do it right  Tablet use  Temporary users  You need to know what you want and how you will manage  If you want control but worry about app compatibility or costs… BYOD may not be good for a full implementation  Would you suggest implementing a container?  It depends… no clear answer… it depends on what you are trying to do  You need to consider many things before deciding  A cohesive Mobility Strategy would help clear this up  Balance: Useability/flexible/cost vs security $160/yr container  Useability impact, not able to wrap standard apps  Not native email client, container based browser  Legacy app (java applets) not support by some containers  Would you suggest adopting BES12?  Consolidating on 1 MDM has many benefits (and can reduce costs)  However, there’s some tradeoffs too (SW is a container – OpenPeek hence same challenges as above)  But if you need BES anyway… this could save you effort and money

  25. Enterprise Mobility: Get Ready for 2015 Key Points to consider:  Mobility Strategy: Prioritize initiatives to be able to move forward  Stay flexible (platforms, policies, process & support)  Get your head out of the Sand: Security & trade-offs  MDM selection  Standard Features  What MDM vendors are doing:  Secure communications  Differentiation  BlackBerry Decision: Part of the mix? & how?  Container? Or No Container?  Invest in Mobility partner, not platforms  Customers need solutions, not just tools or patch fixes  Don’t forget about service… Mobility Support & Client Service impact costs & productivity
