Cuisine Chef Riccardo La Perna’s dishes are refined, yet rich. Aromatic with all the Mediterranean flavors that Riccardo expresses at their best. Highlights include the homemade pastas, the delicate seafood dishes and the selection of high quality, imported meats. Wines General Manager Gian Luca Fusetto is an internationally certified sommelier who has worked in premium establishments such as Ristorante Sadler in Beijing and The Dorchester in London. The wine list at 8 ½ Otto e Mezzo is a solid collection of international wines, with a focus on Italy. It was further developed through the special collaboration with prestigious Italian wineries such as Gaja, Antinori and Moretti, that have given the restaurant the exclusive of selected vintages and wines. Bar & Cocktails The Bar Team at 8 ½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana runs one of the best bars in Shanghai with personalized service, unique signature cocktails and a wide selection of spirits. Private Rooms For small to medium parties, the restaurant has 4 private dining rooms of different sizes. The two smaller rooms can accommodate up to 10 guests each, with a long dining table set up. Private Dining Charges The Private Dining Rooms are priced based on a minimum charge that varies according to size and capacity. Whole Restaurant The restaurant can be entirely booked for larger private events: dinners, cocktail parties, presentations, press conferences and combinations of the above. Terrace The rooftop terrace offers spectacular views over the Pudong Skyline and the Huangpu River. It has a central cocktail bar area which is fully weatherproof and heated (accommodating up to 50 standing guests) and an open terrace area with outdoors seating with a capacity of up to 150 standing guests. Ideal for private events, private dining and cocktail parties.
