CE Marking. a) Applied to Product or product packaging b) May also be on the cable print markings c) CPR classification and key product information for traceability (DoP)

Assessment and Verification of Consistency of Performance “1+” Including: • Initial type-testing and continuous surveillance, • Audit & testing of samples by 3rd party certification body • Factory production control by manufacturer “3” including: • initial type-testing by 3rd party laboratory • factory production control by manufacturer “4” including: • initial type-testing and factory production control by manufacturer
DoP Cut Ticket replicates Cut Ticket when CPR details of the CE label in doesn’t apply greater detail
DoP Cleveland Cable holds the manufacturers DoP on file
CPR Summary: (a) Buy from reputable sources, Cleveland cable is CPR compliant (b) Only affects cables introduced to the EU market after the 1st Jul 17, all cables prior to this date can be legally sold and installed without CPR as it was not a requirement (c) CPR helps make informed purchasing decisions ...... But other standards still apply.
