One last thing…… NJHS The purpose of National Junior Honor Society: To create enthusiasm for scholarship To stimulate a desire to render service To promote leadership To develop character To encourage citizenship Students in 7 th and 8 th grade are eligible for membership: Scholarship criteria: Semester grade of 95 in all classes except in EXPO, enhanced/pre-ap classes, advanced math, or a high school credit courses in which a 90 is acceptable. Students who qualify & are interested must apply & be evaluated NJHS, members are required to: -maintain the same level of performance -regular attendance at chapter meetings, -participation in the chapter service project -perform an individual service project -pay dues.
