Countdown to Graduation ❑ Thursday, June 6th- Senior Yearbook distribution in cafeteria at 2:30 pm ❑ Wednesday June 5th to Monday, June 10th: Window for period 7 & 8 Senior Exams ❑ Tuesday, June 11 th : Periods 1 & 2 exams ❑ Wednesday, June 12 th: Periods 3 & 4 exams ❑ Thursday, June 13 th : Periods 5 & 6 exams ❑ Rehearsal #1: Friday, June 14 - NHS auditorium ○ Final Senior Credit Check ❑ Rehearsal #2: Monday, June 17 - NHS/Oakdale Theatre Seniors must attend both rehearsals to be eligible to participate in graduation at the Oakdale.
To PARTICIPATE in our Commencement Ceremony, YOU MUST… ❑ Complete ALL Graduation Requirements ❑ Clear ALL financial delinquencies ❑ Attend BOTH Graduation Rehearsals on June 14th & June 17th

Friday, June 14th Graduation Rehearsal #1 MANDATORY! NHS AUDITORIUM 9:00 AM-11:30 AM ● APs line up students by house ● Full walkthrough of graduation procedures/expectations
Friday, June 14th FINAL FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS ARE DUE AT 3:00 PM IN THE NHS MAIN OFFICE
Monday, June 17th Graduation Day Graduation Rehearsal #2: MANDATORY! 8:00 am – Breakfast in auditorium lobby area 8:30 am – Assemble by House in auditorium 9:00 am – Board buses 9:15 am – Depart for Oakdale Theatre 9:45 am – Begin rehearsal at Oakdale Theatre 11:30 am – Depart Oakdale – Return to NHS 12:15pm - Cap & gown distribution in auditorium, followed by afternoon break 4:45 pm - Return to NHS to depart for Oakdale on NHS buses. Be back at NHS on time!!! You CANNOT drive yourself to the Oakdale!
Monday, June 17th Graduation Day Commencement Exercises (The real deal) 4:45 pm – Assemble by House in auditorium 5:00 pm – Board buses 5:15 pm – Depart for Oakdale Theatre 6:00 pm – Arrive at Oakdale Theatre 6:15 pm – Assemble in staging area 6:45 pm – Begin processional 7:00 pm – BEGIN COMMENCEMENT!!! *You MUST plan for your own transportation home! *Admission to All-Night Graduation Party will begin at about 10:30 p.m. * Latest time to enter is 11:15 p.m. Ends at 5 a.m.
Ticket Information Letter #1 – Sent out week of April 15th It included information on graduation ceremony, tickets, obligations that must be met for graduation & need for a dignified ceremony. Letter #2 – Sent out May 21st You received one of two possible letters. Letter Version 1: Contains tickets, you’re all set! ● Letter Version 2: Tickets are on hold due to academic ● circumstances and/or financial obligations Information in both letters includes: Credit Check & Deadline to meet obligations ● Graduation Rehearsals & the actual Ceremony ● Graduation Dress Code ● Graduation Photos ●
Graduation Info & Expectations ❑ Your attendance at BOTH rehearsals is MANDATORY… Failure to attend a rehearsal will result in NOT participating in the Commencement ceremony. ❑ Transportation will be provided for the rehearsal & to the Commencement on the day of graduation. You cannot drive yourself to the Oakdale. ❑ You MUST have your own ride back home after Commencement is over. “Game Day” Dress - No jeans/sneakers ❑
Graduation Info & Expectations (cont’d.) ❑ Procession begins at 6:45 p.m. and the ceremony begins promptly at 7:00 p.m. Doors to Oakdale will close at 6:45 p.m. to allow graduates to proceed into the theatre. Doors open again following the processional. ❑ Tell your family and guests to plan accordingly. (Get there early!) ❑ No signs or balloons will be allowed into the Oakdale. ❑ Dignified behavior by graduates and guests is expected.
