  7. ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS Alternative Solution 1 – Upgrade the Isthmus Bay Road to the rural road standard. Alternative Solution 2 – Upgrade the Isthmus Bay Road to an urban standard with curb and gutter, storm sewers and pedestrian and bike lane. Alternative Solution 3 – Upgrade the Isthmus Bay Road to reduce flooding problems and resurface the road. Alternative Solution 4 – Upgrade the Isthmus Bay Road to provide improved drainage, pedestrian and bike lane, and west support wall along road from Everatt Side Road to Fox Drive. The Class Environmental Assessment Costs will need to be added to the project cost. 8
