CLASS C UNIFORM B1. Wear the Class C Uniform to standard.
Class C Uniform Fully described in CR 1-8, Chp. 8
Headgear Utility cap, red or black beret (when authorized), or baseball cap (such as during Summer Camp) Beret Rank insignia Headband straight across centered: forehead left to right 1” above eyebrows • • top to bottom Flash over left eye • • Right side draped • No hair visible on toward right ear forehead beneath cap Rank insignia centered on flash No hair visible on forehead beneath cap
T-Shirt Plain white crew neck T-Shirt No marking on it
Nameplates/tapes Embroidered nametape blue on tan • Tan nametape with CA with last name • CADET CORPS over right breast • a bove left breast pocket • pocket OR Black nameplate from Class Bs • centered on right • breast pocket flap Note: Ribbons are never worn on this uniform
Patches Brigade or unit patch, if worn Cadet Corps patch on right on left 1/2 inch from seam 1/2 inch from seam centered centered Note: Patches are not creased
Rank Insignia Top of rank insignia centered between top of pocket flaps
Coat Coat untucked does not extend below top of cargo pocket on pants not higher than bottom of side pocket on pants ALL buttons buttoned on pants & blouse
Coat • When sleeves worn down: – crease ironed on outside • middle of sleeve • from shoulder (not including patch) • When sleeves rolled up: – button cuff remains exposed – rolled neatly – no more than three inches (3”) above elbow • Buttoned, except for top button • Collar lapel lies open & flat in front of neck • All pockets buttoned
Belt Tan or coyote military “rigger belt” • Tipped end of belt passes through buckle to wearer’s left • Closed buckles • – tipped end extends beyond end of buckle – only tip is visible – no fabric portion of belt is beyond buckle No part of belt exposed between belt tip & buckle • If not visible when worn, plain end (no tip) of belt may extend • beyond keeper portion of inside of buckle Open-faced buckles • tipped end of belt passes through buckle to wearer’s left – extends no more than two inches (2”) beyond end of buckle –
Pants & Boots Pants tucked into boots or around blousing band no “pegged” appearance Boots does not extend down black leather, tan or to ankle area “coyote suede” sit right above boot black boots shined
