Batesburg-Leesville Key Findings  People cherish the small-town fabric in Batesburg-Leesville; residents are proud of where they live.  There is interest in partnering with local community organizations for community-wide event planning and programming.  Feeling safe while walking, wheeling, and bicycling is a driving factor in mode choice.  It is important that facilities in Batesburg- Leesville be accessible for people of all ages and abilities ; this is especially true at community facilities and grocery stores.  There is a need to identify and leverage funding sources or financing mechanisms to implement new infrastructure.
