A History of The Chinese emperor Shen Hung recorded the first 2737 B.C. Hemp medicinal use of hemp, a plant commonly used for fibers and textiles. Hemp is grown by most major farms and is a staple of 1850 agriculture and is listed in the US Official Drug Reference Manual as a legitimate treatment for a wide range of ailments. The passage of the Marihuana Tax Act of 1937 ended the role 1937 of cannabis as a medicine in the United States. Following this, cannabis (including hemp) became prohibited throughout much of the world.
