Overview of anticipated impacts of Runway 9/27 closure y • Runway 9/27 is a major Logan runway that handles about 30% to 50% t i r of departures under all primary operating conditions o h t u • Rehabilitation is necessary to repair pavement cracking and A weathering, improve drainage and install new LED edge and centerline t r o lights P s t • Runway will be closed for about 75 days beginning mid-May t e s u • Originally scheduled for late August to late October- after the peak h c summer travel period- the current, significant drop in flight operations a s has provided an opportunity to avoid major operational disruptions s a M • Closure now will also minimize shift in flight patterns and avoid impacts when flights return 5
