Mission Statement

Purpose As a Brock community, our objectives are to: 1.) Raise money for specific goals established by UNICEF Canada- these goals primarily deal with alleviating poverty for children all around the world. 2.) Raise awareness on campus and out in the community. 3.) Promote participation and support for any event that focuses on the hardships faced by people, particularly children, living in poverty.

What have we done so far? Fundraised for the Syria and Sahel Crisis:  Dodge-ball tournament- raised $251.00  Masquerade Dance- $1152.50  Had 1 Raffle Draw-$328.20  Sold Roses (500) on Valentine’s Day - $1515.35 *Grand Total Raised in 2013-2014: $3247.05 *Grand Total Raised in 2014-2105: $700.00

WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO? Goals: To have at least one event per month and raise approximately $3000. Plans for this year: • WALK2TO • Fundraiser Tournaments (Dodgeball, volleyball and etc…) • Spin class/yoga class • Valentines Day Roses • Support other clubs and charities

FINANCES  Walk2TO = $360.00 + gas = $450.00 2 nights hotel stay = 89.97 +tax per night  2 cases of water = 3.99 +tax each  Support/emergency driver gas = bring in receipts  100 dollars for camera documentary  50 dollars 3 day snacks (bananas, apples, granola bars)   Sports Tournament = $205 Gatorade and water = $25.00  Speaker rentals for music and microphone = $50.00  1 st place and 2 nd place Prizes cost = 10 dollar gift card x 10 people per team = $100.00  2 nd place = pizza party = $30.00   Roses (250 assorted, and 20 cellophane rolls)= $400  Spin class/Yoga class = $40.00  Speaker rentals = $40.00 TOTAL ASKING PRICE: $1,095
