The following year (2008), Luca and Marco Taiariol became new partners of the company (currently part of DLM Holding Srl). In 2011, in order to increase production capacity T&R Technology & Renewal Sp. z o.o. for materials made of alloys other than brass, A&B Torneria Automatica set up an important partnership with T&R Technology and Renewal. Technology ◊ Technical support in the planning phase to develop new products and any necessary modifjcations of existing products. ◊ Turning using a new and refurbished pool of machinery, consisting of multiple-mandrel automatic lathes with integrated numerical TECHNICAL SUPPORT control tools. ◊ Quality control from beginning to end of manufacturing in a state-of-the- art laboratory with optical machines, TURNING PACKAGING profjlometer and sensors. ◊ Surface grinding to complete the turning process improving the surface appearance WASHING QUALITY CONTROL and roughness of the product. ◊ Standard washing process is done with modifjed alcohol. Customised programmes can be set for components with a more SURFACE GRINDING complex shape. A protective product can be used for components produced using materials subject to oxidation. ◊ Standard packaging is carried out by an automatic line. Manual packaging and placed method can be used for the fragile components or on customer’s demand.

Quality With the aim of ensuring that clients are supplied with products which comply with legal standards and efgectively meet their production requirements, we guarantee meticulous quality control throughout the production process. MAHR ROUGHNESS MITUTOYO OPTICAL CNC MACHINE ◊ Receiving raw materials random checks on dimensions of materials supplied and batch creation for traceability throughout. ◊ In-line checks checkpoints throughout the production area: Vici Vision for measuring external profjle, calibration, altimeters and intermediate testing linked via web. The standard cycle includes checks every two hours on all dimensions, while for difgerent requirements we can carry out statistical analysis through Xbar-R charts and customised checking cycles. ◊ Laboratory testing mitutoyo optical machines and Zeiss probe and profjlometer to complement the in-line checks. Digital and manual magnifjcation and Zeiss surface indicators for surface testing. Monitoring of production is MITUTOYO PROFILE VICI CNC CONTOUR ZEISS CNC MACHINE carried out with the aid of QDAS software, and PROJECTOR MACHINE we guarantee all our clients a PPM level equal to 2,000. ◊ 100% controls checkpoints for the visual selection and removal of excess material.7 ◊ Checks on reception of externally-processed items to ensure functionality following any external processing. ◊ Random checks random checks on the chemical composition of the material, using external laboratories. Washing and packaging The standard washing process using modifjed alcohol is facilitated by automatic loading of the mesh crates and indication of the wash cycle according to the quality plan. For components with a more complex shape, customised programmes can be set, including the use of ultrasound. For components produced using materials subject to oxidation, a protective product can be automatically selected and used. Standard packaging is carried out by an automatic line which builds the cardboard boxes and fjlls them with the items before weighing them to ensure they do not exceed legal limits for manual lifting, then labels them and stacks them on europallets. Manual packaging difgers from this method in that is is supervised by an operator in order to protect the items’ fjnish; the placed method is also possible, where the operator places the items in suitable blister packs to prevent damage during transit.
