League Structure • CCL (Club Champions League) – 2 teams U9 and U10 (each gender) – 1 team per age group U11-U18/19 • NCSL (National Capital Soccer League) – 2 teams+ U9-U18 Boys • WAGS (Washington Area Girls League) – 2 teams+ U9-U18 Girls • ODSL (Old Dominion Soccer League) – 2 teams+ U9-U18 Boys and Girls 5
U9 Travel Format • 12 players maximum on a roster per team • 7v7 on the field (6 field players, 1 GK) • 30 minute halves (league play) • Size 4 balls • Approx. 50x70 fields • 6.5 x 18.5 Goal Size 6

Policies/Structure The Club has policies and structure in place to help the families it serves: • Coach credentials/minimum standards • Coach/trainer salary structure • Club manages the coaches and manages assignments to maximize development • Professional coaches for new U9 Teams (Red, Black, White and Silver) • Parent Surveys • Official Escalation Policy 12
TA/GK/Striker Academy • Training Academy (TA) – rotation of coaches, curriculum, street soccer, club atmosphere – Included in Club Fee • GK Academy – John O’Hara – GK Director – Mondays – 2 players per week attend – Included in Club Fee • Striker Academy – Maurice Hughes – Mondays (supplemental) 13
Monthly Commitment (approximate) • May: tryouts (U9) • June: tryouts (U10-U18), post-tryout team meeting/practices • July: Residential Camp (optional), informal team training (1x per week) • August: 1x per week until pre-season mini- camp (organized by coach), 2x week training begins week of 8/19, tournament(s) • Sept -Nov: 2x week training, TA, optional GK and Striker Academy, 1x week league games, tournament (in-season or post-season) • Dec: OFF 14
Monthly Commitment (approximate) • Jan/Feb: 1-2x week team training, indoor league • March: 2x week team training, tournament(s) • April/May: 2x week team training, TA, optional Striker and GK Academy, 1x week league matches, tournament (Memorial Day?) • June: Tryouts 15
In-Season Time Commitment • Twice per week training with team • TA once a week (Wednesday) • GK Academy once a week • 1 game on the weekend (usually Sunday) • 2 tournaments per season (fall/spring – often holiday weekends) 16
Off Season Training The yearly training plan is arranged by the coach, which includes the following: • 8 Winter Club Indoor Training Sessions (included in fees) • Team Winter/Summer Sessions – 20 total (included in fees) • Indoor League Play • Spring Break Training Programs • Summer Training Programs (Residential & Day Camps) • Free Play Dates • Rest/Recovery 17

What to Expect from Coaches • Display professionalism at all times at both practices and games • Be a leader for the players and parents • Be an effective communicator • Be fair, honest and have integrity • Remember they are coaching children • Promote a developmental model in keeping with the philosophy of the club 22
Parent Roles • Be a positive, supportive role model for your child, the team, and your coach • Volunteer for positions for your team and/or the Club • Communicate questions and issues directly to coach in a civil and timely fashion – Contact DOC if issue is unresolved 23
U9 Annual Travel Fees Loudoun Soccer Club Fee (Elite - Red Team) $2215 per player (Coaching fee includes all coach salary, 10 winter team sessions, 10 summer team sessions, Pre-Season Team Summer camp, all facility fees) Loudoun Soccer Club Fee (Premier – Black Team) $2065 per player (Coaching fee includes all coach salary, 10 winter team sessions, 10 summer team sessions, Pre-Season Team Summer camp, all facility fees) Loudoun Soccer Club Fee (Travel 1 – White/Silver team) $1815 per player (Coaching fee includes all coach salary, facility fees) • Installment plans are available for payments (4 month/9 month) • The player’s commitment is June 2014 -May 2015; families are expected to participate in and pay for this year-round program. • Fall & Spring Training Academy and GK Academy are included in Club fee • 8 winter Indoor Club Training sessions are included in Club fee 24

Additional Expenses • Loudoun Soccer Fees DO NOT Include the following items (which should be included in a separate Team Fee collected by each team): • Tournament Costs • Coach Travel Costs • Uniform Expenses – teams pay for uniform costs directly and not through Club fees • Winter League/Futsal fees • Striker Academy (optional and individual) 26
Fundraising and Assistance Families and teams may off-set their expenses through the following options: • Fundraising – Money raised will often go toward team-related expenses • Club Financial Assistance - $55K+ provided in 2013/14 27
Tryouts • Loudoun Soccer Coaching Staff oversee tryouts • Complete Pre-Tryout Information Sheet will be available online/on site • Families MUST pre-register for tryouts • Only HEAD COACHES, Loudoun Professional Technical Staff, or otherwise approved staff can be tryout evaluators • It is an open, competitive tryout for ALL players • Players are selected by ability to the Red, Black, White, & Silver teams 28
