Proposed Improvements • Scope of work includes: Resurface WIS 47/55 and pave five-foot shoulders Replace the railroad crossing and install new signals and gates Reconstruct all curb ramps to meet current ADA requirements Repair spot locations of curb and gutter Replace guardrails and two drainage culverts
Proposed Improvements • Scope of work, continued: Install new signing, pavement marking, and centerline rumble strips Modify intersections at the following locations to improve traffic flow, efficiency and safety: • Anderson Avenue • County H • Maple Avenue • Frailing Lane • Curt Black Road • Balsam Row Road • Old Keshena Road

Intersection Improvements • Curt Black Road Widen for northbound right turn lane • Balsam Row Road Widen shoulder to standard width along the northbound by-pass lane • Old Keshena Road Put in cul-de-sac in to provide marked bike trail
Traffic Impacts Single lane closures with flagging conditions Single lane closure for bridge work over Shawano Creek controlled by temporary traffic signals Short term closure with marked detour during railroad crossing replacement Shoulder closures in areas of intersections improvements and guardrails Local and emergency access will be maintained
Construction Schedule Construction Start: June 22, 2020 Anticipated completion: end of September 2020 The above deadlines will be impacted based on weather and third party coordination for railroad crossing reconstruction Holiday Restrictions (No work/hauling allowed) From noon Thursday, July 2, 2020 to 6 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2020 From 6 a.m. Wednesday September 2 to 6 a.m. Tuesday, September 8
