OLD BUSINESS • Any Old Business? – Previous Motions to follow up on not otherwise covered by a committee?
BOD Meeting Update • 2018 members who have not paid 2019 dues have been contacted by email and offered an opportunity to renew with no lapse in membership – Those who do not pay by the end of July will be removed from the club membership roster, and must reapply and be voted in to restore membership • IT Committee is configuring CiviCRM to manage the club’s membership and resources • Amateur Radio Club of Augusta proposal for multi-club swap meet • Explored options for merging or reducing some committees – Possible merging of Outreach and Mentoring Committees – BoD will assume responsibility for annual awards program • Requests for Technician Licensing Course • Meeting presentations – BoD is seeking individuals willing to give presentations at club meetings, as well as ideas for presentation topics – Some proposed topic ideas: • Protection from Solar Flares, EMP • Grounding • Repeaters • Go-Boxes • Kit building
