  3. Elections Four new members to the AAB in 2017: • Aman Dhall • Natalie Panto • Samuel Edmunds • Sameedha Rich-Mahadkar • 44 alumni applied for a position on the AAB • 13 shortlisted candidates • 375 votes were placed in the election

Activities Uni Univer ersi sity C Coun uncil – Pr President The president of the Alumni Association is a lay member of University Council, attending all Council meetings Internatio ional a l activ ivit ity AAB members have supported engagement activity particularly in China, Hong Kong and India. Activity has increased over the last year.

  7. Activities Enter erprise/ e/Ex Exper erts • AAB members have used their expertise to support University Engineering, STEM and enterprise activities. Donors rs • AAB members support the University’s fundraising projects with ideas, attendance at events and through personal donations • The AAB is looking into ways to support the Annual Fund programme run by the University’s Philanthropy team over the next year

  8. Governance New Constitution and Operating Procedures documents have been drawn up over the last year for the Alumni Association and Alumni Advisory Board. These new documents seek to provide greater clarity and stronger governance for the Alumni Advisory Board.

  15. Experts Since August 2016 • Launched Lboro Connect: an online mentoring platform for alumni and students • Supported SBE and WEDEC in their Distinguished Alumni Awards, awarding 5 prizes this year.
