  19. IMPORTANCE OF AST

  20. • The Alberta Ski Team is extremely important to the development of alpine skiing in Alberta and Canada. Not only is the AST something that young athletes can look up to, it is a stepping stone to the NCAA and the Canadian National Ski Team.

  21. OUR PROGRAM Our program is designed to provide the opportunity to grow as an athlete and as a person. Our coaches are determined to make us the hardest working team in the country, and the best educated. We take classes in cooking, nutrition and sport psychology to give us all the resources we need to be successful in our sport. Our team energy is great, we work together all the time and push each other to be great in every aspect of our lives!

  22. Pucon, Chile • Recently returned from a 3 ½ week on snow camp down in Chile • Despite the weather not being optimal, the team as a whole made huge gains on and off the snow. • Had 15 days on snow, not as many as planned due to weather • Focused on GS and SL
