  10. • Going Green Carbon footprints, ozone depletion, energy efficiency, recycling and sustainable transport... the winner will have had a mind to all of these, and probably more. Does your business do more than merely install energy-efficient lightbulbs? Let the judges know! Innovation With trading conditions as tough as they have been for generations, thinking outside the box has never been more important. Has your business seized on an innovative idea? Has it changed the focus of its business to adapt to market conditions, perhaps by working successfully with business partners? Business Personality Behind almost every good business is a personality who drives it. They need ego, personality, humour, business savvy, and unswerving commitment. Who has this in bucketloads? Customer Service Arguably, this is where it all starts and, some would say, ends. Who goes that extra mile for customers? The winner of this award will demonstrate customer service is alive and kicking.

  11. • Lifetime Achievement The winner of this award will have made a major contribution to their business and to the reputation of the town over more years than they would probably care to remember. This is your chance to recognise and acclaim that special someone by nominating them. Readers Choice This is the one award the judges have no control over.
