Community Engagement Strategy • Community Engagement Plan is a regulatory requirement -> Plan and strategies were updated in 2015 • Project update meeting in February 2015 -> led to Site Blessing in June 2015 • Majority of site workers were from local communities • Elders and Land and Water Tour in September • Project close-out celebration in December 2015 • Community based monitoring training in Q4 2015-16 • Long Term Monitoring Plan (commencing in 2016) will be community-based
