  5. Scoring • Students receive an overall vertical scale score in each subject • Scores fall between achievement level 1 (lowest) and achievement level 4 (highest) 5

  6. Achievement Levels Level 1 = Does not meet the achievement level Level 2 = Approaching the achievement level expected Level 3 = Meets the achievement level expected Level 4 = Exceeds the achievement level expected 6
