Anti Climb Fence Anti climb mesh fence (Also known as 358 mesh) has been universally accepted as the most secure form of welded mesh panel commercially available with significant inherent advantages over products such as chain link fencing or other forms of welded mesh fencing owing to its configuration. Understanding the technologies – Vibration Sensor Fence Vibration Sensors are mounted directly on the fence fabric and detect vibrations on the fence, including those associated with cutting, climbing or lifting of the fence. There are two basic types of fence vibration sensors; electromechanical or inertial sensors, whose signal processor has pulse accumulation circuit that recognises momentary contact openings of electromechanical switches; and piezoelectric, whose signal processor responds to the amplitude, duration and frequency of the transmitted signal. The state of art new technology in vibration sensor is based on MEMS. The vibration sensors based on MEMS technology does not have any moving parts, resulting in very low FAR. SVS 1000 PIDS Features The system does not require field Boxes, processors or power for sites up to about 1.5 Km, can be plugged in directly into the control hub(computer). The SVS Fence provide alarm resolution of 3m rather than up to 100m in other systems. The same sensors can act as Magnetic sensors, guard tour notification sensors and temperature sensors.   11. Solid State Digital Radar System RASTR (Radio Scanner of Tracks) is active coherent short range radar which has high range and Doppler resolutions, but has no angle resolution at all. However angle coordinates are calculated and determined by using mono-pulse method.   12. Understanding the technologies – Microwave Microwave sensors are volumetric motion detection devices that flood an area with a high frequency field. Any movement within this area disturbs the field and trigger an alarm. There are two basic types of MW Sensors: Mono-statics sensor, which have the transmitter and receiver units encased with in a single housing to protect well defined zone, and Bi-static sensor where the transmitter and receiver are housed in separate housing. Microwave sensors can be used to monitor an open area or along the inside of fence line. A Mono-static MW Sensor has a limited range of 100m where as Bi-static MW sensors can have longer range up to 450m. As a lieutenant colonel in the IDF, Haim was head of the Missile and Electronic Weapon Systems Branch for the Technology and Logistic command before he retired from the military.
