21 st Century Community Learning Centers Request for Applications – FY21 January 2020
Purpose of the 21 st Century Program To identify and support strong applicants with the implementation of out-of-school time (OST) and expanded learning time (ELT) that will enhance academic achievement and social and emotional growth.

Grant Options Expanded Learning Time 1 (ELT) - All Grades • Must offer minimum of 300 additional hours • During school hours and summer • Must show evidence • $50,000 - $200,000
Grant Options Out-of-School Time (OST) - 2 Elementary School • Afterschool program – may include before school and summer school
Grant Options Out-of-School Time (OST) - 3 Middle and High School • Afterschool program - may include before school and summer school • College and career readiness • Dropout prevention
