  7. WG E 24./25.6.2010 7 Workshop organisation: • Introductory session • 5 min flash presentations for „scene setting“ • Discussion of questions (in groups of ca. 8) • Joint drafting of answers at each group • Collection of answers from the groups and report to the plenary

  8. WG E 24./25.6.2010 8 Envisaged workshop output: • Enhanced communication among MS • Compilation of questionnaire feedback • Compilation of group discussion outcome • Oral presentations on NORMAN website + CIRCA • Drafting of report and publication as EU report after agreement by participants

WG E 24./25.6.2010 9 First key messages (1): • Exchange/consultation of concentration data at EU level desired • Need for implementation of a common data format to facilitate collection and exploitation of monitoring data at EU level • „Common DG ENV - EEA data collection template“ is already available and was used during DG ENV EU-wide data collection • Common quality criteria for ecotox data assessment + ecotox data exchange needed • Wish to consult among MS on selected RBSPs + EQS lists: set up of a platform on CIRCA for info exchange on national EQS

  10. WG E 24./25.6.2010 10 First key messages (2): • Potential for collaboration on investigative monitoring at EU level • Need to exchange info about and to improve analytical screening methods • Specific approaches for the marine environment needed
