Fantastic FOG News for FY19 • FOG (Fats, Oils and Grease) Section performed more than 4,750 inspections of food service establishments • No establishments directly contributed to a grease- related overflow • Current compliance rate = 94 percent • up from 88 percent in FY18 • When program began (2007) only 30 percent in compliance 4

  8. Brighton Dam Upgrade Update • Project in final stages • Expected completion • January 2020 • Total cost - $24 million • Upgrades: • Spillway repairs • Gates repaired, retrofitted & painted 8

  9. Greenbelt 96-inch Main Repair • 9/4 – Leak reported • 9/5 – Crews begin to ID location of leak (3 mains in area 10-inch, 20-inch & 96-inch) • 9/6 – Crews determine break is NOT on smaller mains. Crews develop plan smart ball inspection of 96-inch main to ID location of leak • 9/13 – Smart ball inspection completed. ID location of leak. • 9/16 – Crews begin to recharge the Adelphi 60-inch main. This was being dewatered in preparation for Purple Line work. This main needs to be in service in order to make repairs to the 96-inch. • 9/20 – 60-inch fully back in service. Crews begin to dewater 96-inch. • 9/30 – 96-inch fully dewatered and internal inspection performed. • 10/5 – Crews begin to excavate for external inspection of pipe. • 10/7 – 96-inch fully exposed and ready for inspection. 9
