MEET EMILY Emily, her husband and their four children live in Makindu village, Kenya. She owns two acres of land but before Emily joined a Farm Africa farmers group, she didn’t know the best way to use it to grow food or build a business. Farm Africa provided the group with training, tools and high-quality seeds, and we taught the members the best ways to harvest their crops and prepare them for sale. Emily now uses her land to grow fruit and vegetables so she can feed her children three nutritious meals a day, and sells the surplus to pay for their schoolbooks and uniforms. But there are so many more farmers like Emily who urgently need your help.
