  6. W EST S TREET S ITE The Annapolis Public Library is located at 1410 West Street, Annapolis MD 21401. The site is currently 3.90 acres. An adjacent property, 1420 West Street, has been purchased by the County and added to the project area resulting in a total project area of 4.77 acres. The existing library is immediately bordered to the south by West Street (State Maintained Minor Arterial Road) and residential areas; and to the east, west and north by existing single family residential dwellings. The main site access is off of West Street with a secondary access point to the north at Poplar Street. The Library site consists of mowed lawn, trees, surface parking and a one-story building. The adjacent property, 1420 West Street, is a vacant lot with several large existing trees.
