  8. Languages offered: ● Spanish ● French ● Mandarin

  9. Tracking ● Mixed-ability grouping for Levels I and II ● Honors begins in Level III ● Introduction to Spanish Courses (2 year sequence)

  10. Differentiation ● Mixed ability classes require differentiation ● All World Language teachers receive training on effective methods of differentiation ● World Language teaching focuses on moving students along a continuum, beginning with where they are NOW

Students who are interested in the study of language should strongly ● consider studying two languages simultaneously For example: ● four years of Spanish and two years of Mandarin ○ Four years of French and two years of Spanish ○ Four years of Spanish and four years of Mandarin ○ Given the quality of the program, students should be encouraged to ● take advantage of it!
