Current situation of visit • Flights booked 28 th December confirmed 5 th January. • 8 th January informed of cholera outbreak in Zambia – including Lusaka. • Advice sought – including insurance information. • From the date of confirming the booking on 5 th January 2018 to 60 days before the date of travel which is 6 th May the charge will be £150 per student. • From the 7 th May to 35 days before the date of travel which is 31 st May the charge will be £400 per student. • From the 1 st June to departure the charge will be full cost. 3 29/01/2018 3 29/01/2018 3 29/01/2018 3

  18. Medicines and vaccines • Medical forms – completed and updated • Before and during the trip – x2 medication clearly labelled with student name • Malaria tablets – these will be taken each morning. Normally taken a couple of days before being in Zambia. Do not forget to continue once back in the UK! 18 29/01/2018 18 29/01/2018 18 29/01/2018 18

  19. Medicines and vaccines • Check with your GP.   20. Personal hygiene • Hand gel / baby wipes • Only use bottled water. Make sure water containers have lids put back on them • No eating in the Hungry Lion at Livingstone • Look after your own whistle during tag rugby sessions • Sleep so that immune system stays strong and you are useful to the team! 20 29/01/2018 20 29/01/2018 20 29/01/2018 20

Consist of one bag with resources, clothing, rugby kit etc. This must be taken to airport • In addition, I personal bag plus hand luggage • Visas will be collected from students and taken to Zambian Embassy (Gloucester Road, London) to ensure visas are already in place before arrival.
