  20. Shots before school! That’s The Rule… Beginning with the 2015-2016 school year, LTISD implemented a change in its student immunization practice: • In compliance with TAC, Title 25 Health Services, Sections 87.61- 97.72 a 30-day ‘grace’ period will no longer be provided to continuing students to attend school without all immunization being current. • Campus nurses will verify, prior to the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL annually, that each student’s immunization record is up to date. • Continuing students (were enrolled in LTISD in 2014-2015) lacking the required immunizations will not be able to attend school until they are in compliance.

  21. Lockers and Textbooks • Lockers and textbooks will be distributed to all 6 th graders the week before school starts (Round-Up) • Practice, Practice, Practice!!! Learn how to open a combination lock BEFORE the first day of school. This will relieve A LOT of stress.
