Goldfields Career Horizons
A future skilled workforce is critical for the long-term success of businesses located in our region. Consequently Greater Bendigo and its neighbouring Mount Alexander and Central Goldfields Shire are collaboratively working together to develop a long-term solution for this critically important business input. A strategic approach has been developed over the past couple of years to provide a local workforce development solution by linking primary & secondary schools and tertiary institutes with every business in the region.
Initially operating within the City of Greater Bendigo, the objective website for Goldfields Career Horizons is to be available in Central Goldfields and Mt Alexander Shires at a later date. “Horizons” committee members include representatives of business and industry along with Bendigo Senior Secondary College, Catholic College Bendigo, La Trobe University and Bendigo TAFE personnel.
