  4. Upper Merion Area School District ² 5 Elementary Schools (grades K-4) 1 Middle School (grades 5-8) 1 High School (grades 9-12) ² Full time School Counselor in each Elementary School Building ² Elementary building sizes range from 280 students – 415 students

Our Core Curriculum History ü School Counselors meet during summer and monthly to align lessons across buildings. ü School Counselors teach during Specials schedule approximately 11 times per year. ü Emphasis for years was majority Social/Emotional lessons with a few Academic and 1 dedicated Career lesson.

  8. Summer Elementary School Counselor Curriculum Review We don’t have to throw away old lessons for “more career”. We can “weave” future focused concepts into current lessons.
