GHIN and WHS New GHIN App! Know your course handicap!
ESC no longer exists! What is my new max? The new maximum on any hole is……… Par + 2 + any strokes you get with your course handicap OR Double Bogey + strokes OR Net Double Bogey
How do I post a score for holes not played? To post a 9-hole score, a player must have played a minimum of 7 holes To post an 18-hole score, a player must have played a minimum of 13 holes Use Par + Strokes for those unplayed holes (Net Par)
When a hole is started and the player does not hole out, use the ‘most likely’ score for the hole .. Determining ‘Most Likely’ Score The most likely score is: The number of strokes already taken to reach a position on a hole, plus The number of strokes the player would most likely require to complete the hole from that position, plus Any penalty strokes incurred during play of the hole. Most likely score should be determined on any hole in accordance with the following guidelines Position of the Ball Strokes to be Added If the ball lies on the putting green, and is no Add one additional stroke. more than 5 feet (1.5 metres) from the hole: Add 2 or 3 additional strokes, depending on the If the ball lies between 5 feet (1.5 metres) and position of the ball, the difficulty of the green 20 yards (20 metres) from the hole: and the ability of the player.
