If a picture is worth a thousand words, a video is worth 1.8 million words! ● HOW?   3. The WordCamp Europe Example #WCEU Our team (VINUBIS) worked on the first “Video Team” ever created to cover a WordCamp. With only five people, we were able to produce close to 60 videos to post on social media during the event and summary videos to post at the end of each day and after the end of the conference.

  4. Some Numbers Within 2 days close to 60 videos were posted on the WordCamp Europe Twitter and Facebook accounts, on WordPress TV and on the WordPress YouTube Channel. Here are some stats from the WCEU Twitter account, focusing on watch time:

  5. Total Views It was the first time that WCEU was posting native videos on their Twitter account. The graph shows a pic of activity (relative to video) for this period. Thanks to videos, the WordCamp Europe Twitter channel earned 5.1K views and 169.8K impressions per day.

  6. Type of Videos Produced Funny 1-minute videos to post on social media during the two day event. ● Always use the hashtag of the event. Funny and engaging text to prompt people ● to watch the video. If possible add the Twitter handler of the ● speaker to increase chances of likes and retweets.   7. Type of Videos Produced Find relevant people and interview them in a 1-minute videos. ● Always use the hashtag of the event. Get the speaker to give interesting fact ● about the event and quote them on the post. ● If possible add the Twitter handler and title of the speaker to increase chances of likes and retweets.   10. You Too Can Create Your Own “Video Team” What you need: 1. 2 to 5 volunteers or staffs 2. Any type of device that can record video. Does not have to be professional. Can be a phone. 3. Ideally you’ll need microphones to ensure the best sound quality. 4. An account with VINUBIS to upload and edit your videos.

What We Can Do For You And Your Event We will give you a VINUBIS account To upload, edit and publish your videos (Free for WordCamp Volunteers) We will design a “video style” for you: A video style is a template that respects the branding of your event and you can apply to your videos. It includes intro, outro, titles, subtitles and logo. (We can work with your design team) We will train you: through webinars and video tutorials, we will show you how to use VINUBIS to produce your videos and how to publish them “natively” on your social media.
