Behavioral Health Funding our Vision Community Hospital recognizes that there is a desperate need for a Behavioral Health Patient Care Program in our community. Health Our Inpatient and Outpatient programs will focus on: Needs • behavioral health services related to mental illness • addictions or intellectual developmental disabilities • management and coordination of patient healthcare Solving Priority Health The Adult/Senior Care Services are designed to serve both adult and Issues geriatric patients.
Behavioral Health Project’s Goals and Expected Outcomes – Focus will be on the expansion of a comprehensive community Behavioral Health Patient Care Program: Funding our Inpatient Clinic Community Outpatient Clinic Crisis Medical Stabilization Health Planning and developing co-location or integration of behavioral Needs health services with primary care. The proposal includes a ten (10) Bed Inpatient Adult/Geri Psych unit and Intensive Out-Patient Care facility. Solving Priority Health Plans include expanding our ongoing partnership with Laurelwood Issues to provide oversight of our program and utilizing tele-psychiatry to provide the day-to-day mental health services of our Inpatient Program.
Additional Primary Care Providers and Resources Vision Hospital recognizes that additional primary care physicians are Funding our needed in the County to provide appropriate access points to care. Community Hospital Strategy Health Hospital is working to add new primary services in 2018 and beyond through a partnership with College of Medicine to provide Needs 3 rd and 4 th year residents. With this partnership, along with a partnership with the College of Nursing, the hospital will be able to enhance the stability of Solving Priority Health primary care by encouraging patients to remain within the Issues community and assure greater availability of access points. Non-physician office employees will be added to work with physicians and care for patients.
Cancer Treatment Options Vision The Hospital recognizes that Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the United States. Over half a million people die each year in Funding our the U.S. due to cancer. Some cancers may be prevented through screening and early detection. Community Hospital Strategy Health Hospital currently offers programs that provide screening and education for early cancer detection. Needs Hospital has hired a Board Certified Oncologist and has opened an infusion center. Hospital will be adding a cancer specific diagnostic tool. Solving Priority Health Hospital has a goal of updating and enhancing the infusion clinic to Issues improve patient care, access and increase home-town services. Non-physician employees will be needed to care for patients and perform diagnostic tests and treatments.
Cardiology Care Vision Coffee Regional Medical Center’s Cath Lab and Cardiac Rehabilitation Program will be available in Douglas for our Funding our patients. Community Hospital Strategy A new Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory offers complete Health diagnostic cardiac services. It features state-of-the-art equipment to detect the presence of blockages or other evidence of heart Needs disease to help determine needed treatment. Cardiac rehabilitation is the process by which individuals are restored through exercise to their optimal physical, medical and Solving Priority Health psychological status after a cardiac event. Issues Highly trained physicians are needed to further expand cardiology services, as are cardiology technicians and caregivers. All construction projects will be competitively bid.
