  2. My Background I have been at Emory for over 30 years: as a graduate student, post- doc, research specialist, lab manager, program manager, and research administrator. I received my BS in Zoology and Genetics from Duke University in 1989 and my PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology from Emory in 1995. I have completed the CRAE and Pre-Award certifications at NCURA and SRA.

I have 25 years of lab work experience, which instills a very detail oriented mind set. My experience allows me to see both sides of the proposal coin and work to bring those sides together for the best possible application.
