You will start with a scheme of work called ‘Carnival of the Animals’, where we a range of themes and ideas to do with the animal kingdom. You will look at poems, stories and non- fiction texts, as well as writing your own descriptive pieces.

  26. BBC School Report 2014 In March a group of students will join over 1000 schools around the country in the world’s largest student media project!

  27. Student Support Making sure that you enjoy English as well as making progress is vitally important to us, so you will have access to:  ‘English Champions’ – trained Year 8 peer educators  Literacy activities in form time  Support from 6 th Form students during ‘Free for All’
