The Feddersen Group Founded in 1949 by Karl Detlef Feddersen as the chemical trading company K.D. Feddersen & Co . Today, the shares in the companies are held by K.D. Feddersen Holding GmbH . Its sole shareholder is the non-profit K.D. Feddersen Foundation . 2
The Feddersen Group The group is divided into six business segments (foreign trade, plastics distribution, plastics production, mechan- ical engineering, engineering services and stainless steel trade), which are subordinate to K.D. Feddersen Holding GmbH and the K.D. Feddersen Foundation from an organisational perspective. 3
The Feddersen Group The holding serves as the central hub and governing body. It represents the group in relation to the foundation and is responsible for strategic planning and management at the group level. The holding also acts as an internal service provider for the companies in the group. 4
History of the K.D. Feddersen Foundation • Founded in 1958 by Karl Detlef Feddersen • In 1984, the assisted-living facility was built in Hamburg Lokstedt • Extensions were built in the years 1998, 2006 and 2018. 5

What Do We Do? We provide a home for the elderly and people in need of care. We provide nursing care and support according to their needs. 8
What Do We Do? We ensure hygiene and cleanliness in all rooms. Modern care apartments with high living quality with balconies/terraces. 9
What Do We Do? We take over all domestic services. We offer varied, healthy meals – in the morning, at noon, in the afternoon and in the evening. 10

The Assisted-Living Facility Our assisted-living facility consists of 8 interconnected houses in a park-like garden landscape as well as our own spacious restaurant with sun terrace. We currently offer a home to 217 residents and employ approximately 200 people. 13
The Assisted-Living Facility The social support in our facility focusses on indi- viduality and versatility. An extensive range of care and entertainment opportunities is a given for us. 14
