Purpose of the study • To map the information landscape of service providers that care and provide for settlers (mainly refugees) in regional NSW – Investigate the information practices of agencies and the methodologies they adopt to interact and engage with settlers and among themselves

Research Questions of interest • How well do the settlers recognize and understand the information landscape confronting them when they relocate from their countries of origin? Do service providers (SPs), who help newcomers settle in • unfamiliar new territories, enact practices that enable participation and reduce newcomers’ barriers to information acquisition and use? • How well do SPs coordinate and administer their efforts while sharing information among themselves?
