Facilitated Organisation Program Overview • Funded by your organisation • Register online and meet the eligibility criteria: • Undergraduate degree plus three (3) years of associated experience OR Register • 5 years of associated experience (no degree required) • HISA supported induction session at the beginning of the program • Provides an overview of CHIA, expectations and the process to become certified Induction • Distributed to candidates tomorrow • Information on accessing the exam and study material Welcome • 90 days begins Email • HISA supported readiness session two months into the program • Aims to provide the opportunity to re-check with candidates sharing individual experiences, discuss the exam in greater detail and answer any questions Readiness www.healthinformaticscertification.com

Maintain the CHIA credential Credential holds for a three year period, after which it is either  renewed or it lapses Maintaining the currency of health informatics knowledge, skills  and experience is as important as gaining it in the first place Recertification gives assurance that certified professionals have  undertaken maintenance activities to demonstrate sufficient and ongoing CHIA competence Recertification must be completed every three years by obtaining  60 CPD points during your three year recertification cycle www.healthinformaticscertification.com
