  8. www.realityworks.com The Refusal Life Skill Allows you to say “no” and still keep your friends, stay out of trouble and still have fun! • Ask Questions • Think about your decision-5 ?’s – Is it healthy? – Is it safe? – Is it legal? – Does it respect myself and others? – Does it respect the wishes of my parents/guardians? – If you answer no to any one of these questions, you probably should NOT do it. If you do anyway, you better be ready for the consequences! • State only one consequence and repeat it • Sell an alternative • Walk away but “leave the door open” Experiential Learning Technology 8
