Calorimetry R&D-T1015 Detector 2011-2014 for M-Test runs – Most recent, built Proto A & B glass dual readout detectors for 2014 test run – Fiber polishing & mirroring for several iterations of Dual detector design – Sputter coating of Platinum Iridium on highly polished Inconel bars for glass molding release – Specialized “ice polish” of bundled fibers already in detector- earlier run version of glass detector – Winston cone coatings – Develop and improve optical gluing technique and fabricated heat treatment station for large construction prototype – Researched and tested epoxy and filler mixtures for reflective properties and cure temperatures Eileen Hahn-PPD/DDOD/Thin Film 4

LAPPD (Large-Area Pico- second Photo Detector ) R&D “electroding” of 33mmDIA and 8inch Multi-Channel Plates – NiCr coatings – In 2010, reconfigured a system for initial attempt to “electrode” 33mm MCPs-technique not currently available in industry – Designed and assembled a vacuum system for “electroding” 8 inch square MCPs – Researched and purchased high vacuum rotating motor – Designed and fabricated internal holding fixtures and electrical feeds – Experimented with several versions of electrical feeds, amount of target material to temperature – Developed and improved procedures for coating in the process of providing coated MCPs 10/29/14 6 Eileen Hahn-PPD/DDOD/Thin Film
