Two different entries: Vegetarian recipes / Plant-based recipes (vegan) Entries can be submitted in different formats: Videos (max length 3 min) / Poster / Booklet/flier Additional criteria to be considered: • Issues about food miles and food waste • People should be able to follow the recipe and method • Special consideration will be given to entries that include food from different parts of the world • Special consideration will be given to entries that focus on healthy meals Judging: experts from organisations involved, including Camden Think and Do, Camden Learning and Caterlink. Tom Moggach will be our special guest judge. Prizes: vouchers for a local garden centre? Also, winners will be invited to host a Think and Do cook along supper club ”
Summer eco cook-up competition About video submissions • They can be filmed in whatever way is easiest – for example on a smartphone – but submission need to be short and snappy as the maximum run time is 3 minutes • Videos could be edited to add music, subtitles, captions or graphics – but they are not essential • Due to the potentially large size of the video-clips, entrants will need to upload them to the web (using personal or the schools social media channel, e.g. Youtube, Vimeo, etc.) and include the link to the video-clip on the entry form. • A consent form will need to complete for all those who appear in the video-clip. Supporting information We will develop a pack of downloadable resources (fact sheets) around relevant subjects such as food waste, food miles, etc, for students to use as reference points
