Ephesians 3:20-21
Ephesians 3:14-19 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Ephesians 3:20-21 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

“able to do” Psalm 127:1-3 I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? 2 My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. 3 He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. 4 Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

“The infinite ability of God to work beyond our prayers, thoughts and dreams is by the by the power at work within us power at work within us , within us individually (Christ dwelling in our hearts by faith) and within us as a people (who are the dwelling place of God by his Spirit). It is the power of the resurrection, the power which raised Christ from the dead, enthroned him in the heavenlies, and then raised and enthroned us there with him. That is the power which is at work within the Christian and the church.” (John Stott)

AMBITION
AMBITION An ambition is a strong desire to achieve or attain something.
AMBITION An ambition is a strong desire to achieve or attain something. When our ambition aligns with God’s ambition – we will pray BIG!
As Christians we MUST have one overriding ambition in life
As Christians we MUST have one overriding ambition in life 1 Corinthians 10:31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
As Christians we MUST have one overriding ambition in life Psalm 115:1 Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness!
Our ambition in life MUST be to glorify God because: WE ARE CREATED TO GLORIFY HIM! Isaiah 43:21 the people whom I formed for myself that they might declare my praise.
Our ambition in life MUST be to glorify God because: WE ARE CREATED TO GLORIFY HIM! Colossians 1:16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities— all things were created through him and for him.
Our ambition in life MUST be to glorify God because: WE ARE SAVED TO GLORIFY HIM! 1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Paul’s ambition was to glorify God, to put Christ on display in all of his beauty for others to see! Ephesians 2:21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
How BIG is our view of God? Do we see God as Paul did . . . a God who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think?

What is our ambition in life? What is it that we truly want in this life? What do we crave? What do we day dream about?
