What we do… Last year we: • On average each year: • We provide more than 2.4 million episodes of care to our community • More than 180,000 people come to our three Emergency Departments for treatment • We respond to more than 46,000 ambulance arrivals • We deliver more than 9,000 babies • We care for over 29,000 children, and • More than 193,000 people are admitted into our hospitals. • Together, we seek to deliver quality patient-centred health care and services that meet the needs of our diverse community. • The Mental Health Program supports more than one million people across Monash Health’s catchment area. We offer specialist services to south eastern metropolitan and Gippsland regions for eating disorders and perinatal mental health services
Psychology Directorate The Psychology Directorate is responsible for the professional governance of over 130 psychologists who work within Monash Health. This includes professional CPD, supervision and peer consultations, credentialing and representation of psychology across Monash Health. It also has operational responsibilities for a number of services within Monash Health including the aPM (agile Psychological Medicine) Clinic, Rehabilitation and Aged Care Services (RACS), the Wellness and Recovery Centre, and Acute Neuropsychology The Governance Structure (Operationally and Professionally) has been developed over the 18 months.

Psychology Student Coordinators All Student Placement are Program Student Placement coordinated by the Psychology Coordinators: Directorate. Dr. David Moseley - ELMHS Dr. Sarah Davenport – Intensive Student Program Coordinator Mr. Rehabilitation Services George Habib (Deputy Director of Ms. Kirsten Yates – Community Psychology – Professional Access and Partnerships, aPM Clinic Partnerships). and the WRC. Responsibilities include: Dr. Betina Gardner – Rehabilitation - University Partnership and Aged Care Services (RACS) Agreements. Dr. Brian Long – Acute - Interviewing and student Neuropsychology, Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service, Children’s placement selection Cancer Centre (CCC). - vicPLACE documentation - Liaison with Monash Health Placement Coordinators - Liaison with University and Institution Placement Coordinators
