SR16 Status  SR16 accepted on February 29, 2016  Extension for the Implementation of Uniform Procurement Instrument Identifier (PIID) Numbering The date at Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement • (DFARS) 204.1601(b) by which all DoD components are required to comply with the PIID numbering requirements of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 4.16 and DFARS subpart 204.16 is extended from October 1, 2016, to March 31, 2017 – DPAP  SR16 Patches SR16 ASF BLOB and Local Info Patch (April 5, 2016) • SR16 Partial Funding Clause Validation Patch accepted November • 9,2016 SR16 Windows 10 Certification accepted on February 9, 2017 • 2017 Procure-to-Pay Training Symposium 9

SR16 Upcoming Releases  SR16a As a result of issues Site’s experienced with older contracts with • new hard validations deployed in SR16, the Services decided soft warnings would be more in line with business practices. The following content will be included in an SR16 release that is • due to be delivered for testing in July 2017: − Payment instructions – all pre-approval and release checks for the Payment Instructions that were added for SR16 will be removed due to upcoming regulation changes. − Scenarios where funding is applied at multiple Line Item Levels to included CLINS, INFO CLINS, and Standalone INFO CLINS and SUB CLINS will now receive soft warnings. − A soft warning will now be provided when the IUID Indicator at the Line Item Level is not selected in appropriate scenarios. Users will be allowed to either continue the release process or stop the release process to select the IUID Indicator. − Rounding Issue affecting Line Item Funding. − Corrected Warrant Level validations against Foreign Currency Contracts. 2017 Procure-to-Pay Training Symposium 10

SR16 Upcoming Releases  FPDS Engine v3.8a for SR16 • Delivery on July 12, 2017 for SAT. This will update the FPDS Engine to be compatible with FPDS-NG v1.5. 2017 Procure-to-Pay Training Symposium 11

SPS Release Updates - PDS  PDS Extract Utility v5.2 • Accepted on September 8, 2016 − Focuses on sustainment fixes  PDS Extract Utility v5.3 • Delivery on July 26, 2017 for SAT. − Focuses on sustainment fixes  PDS Punch-out Utility v1.0 • Accepted June 2014 and available for deployment  PDS Conformed Award Utility v1.0 • Accepted on October 11, 2016 − This utility produces conformed PDS contracts. It was developed for the purpose of PDS data migration when it is determined that the conformed PDS data on EDA is sparse for the receiving system. 2017 Procure-to-Pay Training Symposium 12
